Bitcoin was introduced to the world in 2009. It is worldwide payment system and does not need a central bank. Transactions in this system takes place between users through the use of cryptography with out an intermediary. Bitcoin was invented by Satoshi Namakoto. Up-till now no one knows that Satoshi Namakoto is a single person or a group. He claimed to be of Japanese origin and born on 5th April 1975.
No one has seen his picture, most of speculators think that he is not from japan because of his perfect English and because of his bitcoin software not labelled in Japanese. He has never disclosed his personal information while discussing technical matters on any forum.
Due to his British English terminology in forum postings, people think that he could be of Common wealth origin. Some people think that Satoshi is of American nationality, asserting that the time frames for code submission coincided neatly with someone living in an EST time zone.
Research carried out at Cambridge University estimates that in 2017, there are 2.9 to 5.8 million unique users using a cryptocurrency wallet, most of them using bitcoin. As of 24 May 2017, Nakamoto is believed to own up to one million bitcoins, with a value estimated at about US$15.5 billion as of December 2017.
Having billion of dollars why Satoshi is hiding himself ?? A system which is controlled by an unknown person or a group is safe for investment or not.
